1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups diced apples
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Add the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Fold in the diced apples.
Spread the mixture into a greased baking pan and smooth the top.
