Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

A delicious and creamy dish combining cheesy scalloped potatoes with savory turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the potatoes thinly and layer them in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly add milk, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  7. Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes and top with chicken ham and turkey bacon.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
