Creamy Ham, Potato & Corn Chowder

A deliciously creamy chowder that combines ham, potatoes, and sweet corn with the distinct flavor of turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup sweet corn
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the chopped onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth, bring to a boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the corn, heavy cream, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes on low heat.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
