Creamy Ruth’s Chris Potatoes

  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle with half of the cheese and turkey bacon.
  6. Repeat with remaining potatoes, cream mixture, cheese, and bacon.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
