Crunchy Crispy Smashed Potato

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Boil the baby potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly, then place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Using a potato masher, gently smash each potato until flattened.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the smashed potatoes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  7. While the potatoes are baking, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy and chop into pieces.
  8. Remove the potatoes from the oven and top with the crispy turkey bacon.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
