Frito Cowboy Cabbage

A delicious and hearty dish that combines the crunch of Fritos with savory turkey bacon and beef, all layered on a bed of cabbage.

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag Fritos corn chips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the diced turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add chopped cabbage and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix in the cooked turkey bacon and let simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Serve in bowls, topped with cheddar cheese and Fritos.
