- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package marshmallows
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 12 candy eyes
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and add in the crispy rice cereal, stirring until completely coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and allow to cool.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the vegetable oil until smooth.
- Once cooled, cut the treats into ghost shapes and dip the tops into the melted chocolate.
- Attach candy eyes before the chocolate sets.
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in a teaspoon of vanilla extract with the marshmallows.
- Use cookie cutters for fun shapes other than ghosts.
