Ghost Krispy Treats

These Ghost Krispy Treats are the perfect spooky snack for Halloween, easy to make, and fun to enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 package marshmallows
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 12 candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and add in the crispy rice cereal, stirring until completely coated.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and allow to cool.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the vegetable oil until smooth.
  6. Once cooled, cut the treats into ghost shapes and dip the tops into the melted chocolate.
  7. Attach candy eyes before the chocolate sets.

Notes

  • For added flavor, mix in a teaspoon of vanilla extract with the marshmallows.
  • Use cookie cutters for fun shapes other than ghosts.
