  • 500 grams all-purpose flour
  • 300 ml warm water
  • 10 grams instant yeast
  • 10 grams salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 150 grams grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix yeast mixture and olive oil into the flour, kneading until smooth.
  4. Incorporate Gruyère cheese and thyme until evenly distributed.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise for about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  7. Shape the dough in a well-oiled baking tray and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
