Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour, followed by olive oil.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Punch down the dough and roll it out to your desired thickness.
  7. Top with your favorite ingredients and bake at 475°F (245°C) for 12-15 minutes.

Notes

  • Letting the dough rise longer can develop more flavor.
