A comforting dish made with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for cold nights.

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 pound chicken ham
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
  2. Add chicken ham, onions, and carrots to the pot, and sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the potatoes, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. Return the chopped turkey bacon to the pot and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or green beans.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
