  • 8 ounces turkey bacon
  • 8 ounces chicken ham
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the ground turkey, turkey bacon, and chicken ham, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in oregano, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  5. Layer half of the phyllo dough in a greased baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
  6. Spread the meat mixture over the phyllo and cover with the remaining phyllo dough, brushing each layer with butter.
  7. Brush the top with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding feta cheese to the filling.
  • Ensure to keep the phyllo dough covered to prevent it from drying out.
