  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken breasts in the flour mixture.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer chicken to a baking dish, pour lemon juice and garlic over the top, and sprinkle with Romano cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
