- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same pot, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Stir in cooked macaroni, cheese, and cream. Cook until cheese is melted and soup is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper. Top with crispy turkey bacon before serving.
