Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes

A delicious recipe for meatloaf made with turkey and bacon served alongside creamy mashed potatoes.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  5. While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the mashed potatoes.
  6. Serve the meatloaf with mashed potatoes on the side.
