A delicious and tender beef braciole recipe that melts in your mouth, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 1 ½ pounds flank steak
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lay the flank steak flat and cover with plastic wrap. Use a meat mallet to pound it to about ¼ inch thickness.
  3. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the steak evenly.
  5. Roll the steak tightly from one end to the other and secure with kitchen twine.
  6. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the braciole on all sides.
  7. Transfer the browned braciole to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over it.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour, or until the steak is tender.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
