Outback Potato Soup

  • 1 cup chopped turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Once potatoes are tender, stir in chicken ham, cream, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with crispy turkey bacon.
