Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf

A delicious twist on a classic meatloaf, featuring the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with the added richness of turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, cooked turkey bacon, sautéed vegetables, breadcrumbs, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  5. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish.
  6. Top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add your favorite spices to the meat mixture.
  • Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
