Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt butter and mix in sugar and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Spoon cream cheese mixture over brownie batter, then add remaining batter on top.
  8. Swirl with a knife and top with raspberries.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  10. Let cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • For an even richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
