  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and egg.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just moistened. Do not overmix.
  6. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and shape it into a circle about 1-inch thick.
