  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until combined.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and then roll them in the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
