- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 pound salmon
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear, then combine it with water in a rice cooker or pot. Cook according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, shred the cooked salmon into a mixing bowl and add mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Mix well.
- Once the rice is cooked, spread it evenly in a baking dish.
- Layer the salmon mixture on top of the rice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with avocado slices and green onions.
- Serve with nori strips.
Notes
- Adjust the sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.
