Sticky Apple Cider Chicken

A delicious and juicy twist on a classic fall dish featuring apple cider.

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together apple cider, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs on both sides until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  6. Serve hot with the remaining marinade drizzled over the top.
