  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, black pepper, and thyme.
  2. Place the flank steak in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain to serve.
