  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  6. Combine the cooked macaroni with the beef mixture in a large baking dish.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
