  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. While the cookies are cooling, make the ganache by heating the heavy cream until simmering, then pour it over the dark chocolate chips in a bowl, stirring until smooth.
  10. Once the cookies have cooled, drizzle the ganache over the tops and let set.
